WF vs MI NY, MLC 2024: Players to watch out

The Australian trio of captain Steve Smith, Travis Head and Glenn Maxwell who make their MLC debut, with us, are the key players to watch out for. Head was the top-scorer for Australia in the T20 World Cup 2024 whereas Maxwell accumulated 132 runs and picked up three wickets from seven matches.

On the bowling front, Akeal Hosein and Lockie Ferguson will lead the charge for us this season. Hosein was excellent with the new ball in the powerplay for the West Indies in the T20 World Cup picking up nine wickets including a five-wicket haul.

Meanwhile, Ferguson got seven wickets in the World Cup including a magical spell against Papua New Guinea where he bowled four maiden overs for three wickets without conceding a single run in the match.
