Marco Jansen, the first player born in the 2000s to be capped for the South African national team, is a fast-bowling specialist who has grown immensely in the shortest format of the game. He was the ICC Men’s Emerging Player of the Year in 2022 and represented South Africa in the ODI World Cup 2023 at the age of 23.
