Washington Freedom Soccer Club School of Excellence

The Washington Freedom Soccer Club (WFSC) is a comprehensive soccer club aimed at developing all levels and ages of talent throughout the Maryland, Virginia, and DC area. The WFSC School of Excellence teams will are the pinnacle of the WFSC youth efforts. The Freedom currently has four School of Excellence teams based out of Bethesda (U12-U14) and McLean (U15) and looks to build on that by adding further teams next Fall. The goal of the School of Excellence program is to provide elite level youth players in the Maryland & Virginia area with the highest level of training and competition available. Training is provided by the Freedom senior team coaching staff, and is aimed at preparing aspiring youth players to meet the technical, physical, and tactical demands of the upper echelon of youth soccer.

The Freedom will be holding a joint tryout later this Spring for all School of Excellence teams, to evaluate players who may be interested in becoming a part of the program. These sessions will continue until the player-selection process is finalized in the middle of June.
