Forward Jenn Parsons was named to the W-League Team of the Week on June 3^rd for her performance over the weekend. Parsons scored the goal that sealed the deal in the Freedom’s 3-1 win over the Long Island Rough Riders on Saturday. Parsons’ goal came off of a ball played over the top by Christine Nairn. Parsons controlled the ball and was able to slip it past the goalkeeper.

Parsons, a 2005 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, currently holds her school record for career goals and career points, with 58 and 131, respectively.
