PHILOSOPHY
The Washington Freedom is the leader of player development in Women’s Professional Soccer. With our club structure starting at the top with the WPS, the Freedom has set up a full club structure down to youth teams and camp programs that are second to none. We have created age and skill level specific programs that help players in their technical and tactical development. Players will be placed into a fun, challenging, structured training environment in order to create good habits. The Washington Freedom Soccer Development Programs encourage players to reach their potential while learning to enjoy the game. Come out and learn from the pros!

The Freedom Membership is the perfect plan for those wishing to take advantage of one or more Washington Freedom Half Day Camps or Clinics AND come out to cheer on the Washington Freedom WPS teams! Benefits of the Washington Freedom Membership include complimentary enrollment in a Freedom Half Day Camp or Freedom Clinic, 12 ticket vouchers to attend Freedom games with your friends or your soccer team, a Freedom Members Only T-Shirt, the ability to donate your camp/clinic to underpriveledged children, the ability to donate your tickets to Freedom Inspires. Full Day Camp - For the competitive and recreational soccer player age 8-16. This program will focus on age appropriate technical, tactical and physical aspects of the game. Full Day Camps run Monday through Friday, 9am-3pm with a one hour lunch break. This camp features a 1:14 coach to player ratio. These camps are run by top class Washington Freedom staff coaches and include a FREE ticket to a 2010 Freedom WPS home game and attend a Freedom Camp Graduation Day Ceremony of your choice (including halftime ceremony on the field), Freedom T-Shirt and a two hour appearance by a Washington Freedom WPS player during the camp. Tuition is $295 per player.
Half Day Camp - For the competitive and recreational soccer player age 8-16. The Half Day Camp focuses on teaching the individual techniques and tactics that are vital for all soccer players in a fun and exciting curriculum. This camp runs Monday through Thursday for 3 hours per day either in the morning or evening (see camp listings for exact times). This camp features a 1:14 coach to player ratio. These camps are run by top class Washington Freedom staff coaches and include a FREE ticket to a 2010 Freedom WPS home game and attend a Freedom Camp Graduation Day Ceremony of your choice (including halftime ceremony on the field), Freedom T-Shirt and a two hour appearance by a Washington Freedom WPS player during the camp. Tuition is $170 per player.
Team Camp - For competitive or recreational teams, these camps are tailored to suit the needs of the individual team. Coached by our top class Washington Freedom Soccer staff coaches, these camps are sure to raise the level of your team both technically and tactically. Camps can be either 1 week (M-F) of 2.5 hour sessions OR once a week for 5 weeks of 2.5 hour sessions. These camps include a FREE ticket to a 2010 Freedom WPS home game and attend a Freedom Camp Graduation Day Ceremony of your choice (including halftime ceremony on the field), Freedom T-Shirt and a two hour appearance by a Washington Freedom WPS player during the camp. Tuition is $2,500 per team, minimum 12 players/maximum 18 players.
High School Prep Camp - Designed specifically to prepare players for their high school seasons. Technical, group and team tactics are highlighted while incorporating a fitness into each and every session. The High School Prep Camp is a 4 day, 2.5 hour intense camp for those serious about preparing for their school seasons. These camps are run by top class Washington Freedom staff coaches and include a FREE ticket to a 2010 Freedom WPS home game and attend a Freedom Camp Graduation Day Ceremony of your choice (including halftime ceremony on the field), Freedom T-Shirt and a two hour appearance by a Washington Freedom WPS player during the camp. Tuition is $195 per player.
Train with the Pros - This is a one time, two hour session with a Washington Freedom staff coach AND a Freedom WPS player at YOUR location. Learn from a Freedom Coach with explanations and demonstrations from a Freedom WPS player. This camp includes 30 WPS tickets andFreedom t-shirts for both players and coaches. Tuitition is $1,000.
Goalkeeper Clinics - These camps have been designed by Freedom Goalkeeper Coach Nicci Wright. Nicci and her experienced staff will put goalkeepers through age and skill level appropriate drills to teach and improve each players ability in the goal. The camps are available for ages 8 years of age through the adult level. Camps can be set up for 1.5 hour sessions over 6 weeks (this includes a Freedom T-Shirt) or one time 1.5 hour session (this will include 1 ticket voucher). 6 week camps tuition is $160 per player, the one time Goalkeeper Clinic tuition is $45 per player.
Adult Clinics - New to soccer or have some experience? Enjoy watching your kids play and want to know more about how to play? Interested in finding a fun new way to get in shape with your friends? The 90 minute 6 week long open clinic is suitable for all levels of experience and is a great way to keep in shape and hone your skills during the off-season. The clinics will focus on teaching technical skills such as ball control, dribbling and passing as well as strategies to improve your soccer game. The clinics feature the expertise Washington Freedom staff coaches and/or players and includes a Freedom T-Shirt. Register early as these sessions will fill up quickly! Tuition is $160 per player.
Youth Clinics - The 90 minute 6 week long clinics will focus on teaching skills and strategies to improve your soccer game. The open clinic is suitable for all levels of experience and is a great way to keep in shape and hone your skills during the off-season. The clinic will feature the expertise Washington Freedom staff coaches and/or players and includes a Freedom T-Shirt. Tuition is $160 per player.
One Time Coaching Session - The Washington Freedom will come to you to run this 1.5 hour session tailored to your teams specific needs. This session includes the expertise of a Washington Freedom staff coach who will create a dynamic session for your team at your location. Tuition is $200 per session.
Partnership Camps - The Washington Freedom also partners with various facilities and organizations to run youth, adult, goalkeeping and specialized camps & clinics. To Register or for more detailed information, visit the partner website.
